Dr. Robert Allen Fahey is "the real McKoy" March 27, 2009
I say that the author is the real deal based upon personal experience. After hearing about Dr. Fahey from a friend last year, my wife and I went to one of his public galleries. He was so spot-on in his readings that we subsequently had him hold a private gallery at our home. The individual readings he did for the ten people present were filled with lots of accurate details, many intriguing insights, an exceedingly entertaining evening, and one prediction in particular about my wife's career that seemed improbable at the time, but, nearly twelve months later, has just recently been proven to be astoundingly correct.
When I later learned that Dr. Fahey had written a book, I was excited to read "Rainbow Soulmates." Yet I wondered if it would be equally as interesting a read as it had been to see him perform in person. It was not. It was even more so.
In general, "Rainbow Soulmates" is a fascinating story about one man's most unusual journey along the Road of Life. The book not only gets you inside the head of a gifted psychic medium, but also inside his mind and heart.
Here are my personal "Top Ten" favorite things about the book:
1. The author's honesty: Dr. Fahey talks with refreshing candor about what it was like for him growing up psychic, saying, "After awhile, I just marked myself with a big `S' for strange."
2. How much I learned: Robert Allen Fahey is a man who loves to learn AND share that information with others, saying:
"I opened my mind to learn as many secrets as possible."
"The position of the medium is much like the one standing on a bridge between the spirit world world and the physical world, and through this interconnection, or combination of worlds, a higher universal channel of communication takes place."
"[W]hat the spirit communication reading demonstrates, if anything, is that our soul and personality survive the change we call death and that communication between the two worlds is possible."
3. Dr. Fahey's in-depth description of his life-long relationship with his personal spirit guides, the "10 Others": Saying that he felt like a "psychic apprentice," he chronicles how his invisible mentors instructed him about various mysteries of human existence.
4. The explanation of the "Book of Life": The author says, "We all have one, and its very accurate." About his own, he reveals, "I could see in the book whenever I wanted to and like watching a movie, literally see who I was and what I did before this lifetime. Additionally, I could look into the book and see exactly what was in store in the present and future and so much more. What intrigued me was that my name was on each page, as if I authored them. And then it hit me! I was the writer of those pages of my Book of Life. Nevertheless, how could this be?"
What really caught my attention was that Dr. Fahey describes how he can view the pages in the "Book of Life" of others!
5. The examination of fear's central role in Life: I personally have come to believe that fear is the greatest enemy any of us face in Life and was happy to see the extent to which he talked about this all-important issue. Using his own life as a teaching tool for the reader, Dr. Fahey writes about how to better understand fear (including some insights about it made possible only by his psychic gift), deal with it, and successfully confront it. I especially enjoyed what is included about "the power of negative thinking" and how crucial it is to not bring that mindset to one's everyday life.
6. The extent to which the author is not afraid to unveil some pretty far-out things about his personal experiences: Not only does Dr. Fahey tell about having made direct contact with the spirit of a departed animal during one reading, but also how he learned that he could "remotely visit and view anyone, any place, at any time I wanted to, including places out of this world, on other planets, and beyond."
7. The special role of music in Dr. Fahey's life and in our world in general.
8. The book explains how psychic readings via telephone, e-mail, and private online chat rooms are possible.
9. The "rainbow soulmate" concept: Dr. Fahey explains what a rainbow soulmate is, how he found his in his beloved wife, Joyce, and what to look for in finding yours.
10. The book doesn't preach: The author doesn't try to jam the validity of the paranormal down your throat and say you have to believe. Amen to that.
Overall, "Rainbow Soulmates" presents a riveting account of an usually talented psychic medium who truly loves what he does and possesses a passion for sharing his gift with others. Explaining that [A]ll people are psychic to some degree," Dr, Fahey offers reassuring words that "our loved ones, appointed spirit guides, angels, and even our pets that have crossed over to the Other Side, are there, looking out for our best interests . . . T]here is no such thing as The End."
For all of the readings and predictions throughout his career, however, Robert Allen Fahey is emphatic about the fact that none of our futures are predetermined, stating that "[T]he future is never etched in stone and can change through choice." Indeed, Dr. Fahey speaks repeatedly about the central role of individual choice in each of our lives.
And, as you now face the choice of reading "Rainbow Soulmates" for yourself or not, I can tell you that, even if you don't accept all of its contents as valid, I believe that you will find it to be a most enjoyable and entertaining book to read.](image1461.gif)
